Azerbaijani judokas win three medals at world championships

Azerbaijani judokas have won three more bronze medals at the World Veterans Judo Championships in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Axar.az reports, citing the Azerbaijan Judo Federation, that Shikhrajab Shikhmuradov and Ahmad Mammadov, both competing in the M3 -73 kg category, and Anar Aghayev in the M4 -90 kg category each won bronze.

On the opening day, Mammadalı Mehdiyev (-100 kg) won gold, while Abulfat Ismayilov (-60 kg), Mahir Abbasov (-81 kg) and Joshgun Abdullayev (-90 kg) claimed bronze medals.

Azerbaijan is represented by 30 judokas at the championships.
