The gift that Turkiye's representative for the normalization of relations with Armenia, Serdar Kilic, brought during his visit to Yerevan on September 12 has aroused interest in the Armenian public.
Axar.az reports that Kilic met with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan during the visit.
During the meeting, he presented Mirzoyan with a specially decorated glass vessel worth 73 million 473 thousand drams (324 thousand 165 manats).
Later, Mirzoyan registered the gift with the Armenian Anti-Corruption Committee in accordance with the country's regulations. According to the law, the value of a gift given to government officials should not exceed 40 thousand drams (60 thousand in exceptional cases), otherwise the product is considered state property. As a result, the recipient of the gift must hand it over to the relevant body.
