Turkiye ready to lead in Ukraine peace

The Turkish Security Council has assessed the situation surrounding the Russia-Ukraine conflict and declared its readiness to assume greater responsibility for establishing peace.

Axar.az reports that this was stated in a statement by the Security Council, chaired by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

The Security Council expressed concern about developments that indicate the risk of war escalating.
