President Ilham Aliyev made a post on his official Instagram account regarding October 3, the Cooperation Day of the Turkic States.

Axar.az reports that the post reads:

"October 3 is the Cooperation Day of the Turkic States.

It was on this day in 2009 that the Organization of the Turkic States was founded in Nakhchivan, the ancient land of Azerbaijan.

I sincerely congratulate the Turkic world on this significant day.

The Turkic world is our family!

Over the past 16 years, our organization has strengthened, gained great influence worldwide, and our ranks have expanded.

The Organization of the Turkic States has made a great contribution to strengthening cooperation between our countries in the political, economic, and humanitarian spheres, and to further strengthening solidarity among the Turkic peoples.

Azerbaijan will continue its efforts to strengthen the unity of the Turkic world. Our brotherhood is eternal!"
