Russia wants to buy fuel from Azerbaijan and Turkiye and supply it to Crimea.
Axar.az reports that Igor Yushkov, an expert at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation and the National Energy Security Fund, told nyus.ru that official Moscow may massively purchase fuel from China, Turkiye, Belarus, and Azerbaijan.
“Previously, the deficit in the Far East was covered by increased supplies from western regions such as Siberia, but now these regions no longer have fuel. Therefore, they are allowed to buy fuel from China and other Asian countries. Crimea's needs can be met through the Caucasus and Kuban. Supplies from Belarus are possible to cover the deficit of Central Russia and the North-Western provinces,” Yushkov emphasized.
Note that Ukraine is systematically attacking Russian refineries.
