FIFA rejects ban on Israeli teams

FIFA has refused to ban the Israeli national team and clubs from participating in international competitions.

Axar.az reports that the decision to this effect was made at the organization's meeting in Zurich.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino, during his speech at the meeting, stressed the importance of promoting peace and unity, especially in the context of the ongoing situation in the Gaza Strip.

It should be noted that last month, UEFA also removed the issue of excluding Israeli football clubs from European tournaments from the agenda.
