Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan declared that “Gaza has had enough of blood, tears and destruction,” urging an immediate end to Israel’s war on the enclave.
Axar.az informs, citing TRT World, speaking at the opening of parliament’s new legislative year on Wednesday, he condemned what he described as Israel’s genocide in Gaza, stressing that Turkiye would continue to stand firmly with the Palestinian people.
"We didn't begin our efforts for Palestinian cause two years ago, we spent our whole lives for this cause.We are going to keep on defending the rights of the Palestinians and our first qibla, Al Quds Al Sharif - Our efforts will continue until Palestinian state is established on the basis of 1967 borders with East Jerusalem its capital," he said.
