There are two possible scenarios for the end of the war in Ukraine: Finland or Azerbaijan-Armenia.
Axar.az reports that these words were spoken by the former Foreign Minister of Ukraine, Dmitry Kuleba.
“Ukraine survives this war, emerges from the war stronger as a state, as a nation, returns to the Western world from which we were stolen 300 years ago, but without some territories, and also does not recognize the loss of these territories from a legal perspective. Then two possible paths open up:
The first scenario is, conditionally, the Finnish or Danish path.
In the 19th century, Denmark lost Schleswig and Holstein, a large territory on the border with Prussia, which annexed it. Denmark accepted this and said, “Okay, we will build what we have,” and built a successful country. Finland also lost the war to the USSR. Finland said, “It’s very disappointing, we lost, but okay, we accepted this and are building a normal country within the borders we have.
I emphasize again: I do not support this scenario, but these are historical examples of people and elites making such decisions.
The second scenario would be that we follow the usual Azerbaijani-Armenian algorithm: prepare to take back these territories or return them diplomatically. We will spend decades on this and then wait for the moment when we can return them (like Azerbaijan).
We are much stronger than we think. And we have proven that nothing is impossible. Therefore, the only question will be who will use the time after the ceasefire more effectively,” Kuleba emphasized.
