On October 2, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met with Prime Minister of the Kingdom of the Netherlands Dick Schoof in Copenhagen.
Axar.az reports that the Prime Minister of the Netherlands congratulated the head of state on the results achieved in Washington on advancing the peace agenda between Armenia and Azerbaijan, emphasizing its great importance.
President Ilham Aliyev, in turn, touched upon the importance of the Washington Declaration signed between Armenia and Azerbaijan under the watch of the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, and the document on the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan in terms of regional peace, noting that peace already exists between the two countries.
The meeting emphasized the successful operation of Dutch companies in Azerbaijan, which covered shipping, port construction, the electrical industry, agriculture, urban planning, and other areas.
During the conversation, issues of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the Netherlands within international organizations were touched upon.
The Prime Minister of the Netherlands congratulated our country on the successful holding of COP29 and noted that serious results were achieved within the framework of that event regarding the international climate agenda.
