Russia, Ukraine exchange 185 prisoners each in latest swap

Russia has returned 185 Russian servicemen from Ukrainian-controlled territory in exchange for 185 Ukrainian Armed Forces prisoners of war.

Axar.az informs according to the Russian Defense Ministry, 20 civilians were also repatriated.

“In line with the Russian-Ukrainian agreements reached on July 23 this year in Istanbul, 185 Russian servicemen have been returned from territory controlled by the Kyiv regime. In exchange, 185 Ukrainian POWs were handed over. In addition, 20 civilians have been repatriated,” the ministry said.
