Erdogan, Putin discuss Gaza and Ukraine in phone call

A telephone conversation took place between Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Axar.az reports that the Public Relations Department of the Turkish Presidential Administration released a statement.

It was reported that bilateral relations, regional and global issues were discussed during the conversation.

Erdogan said that Turkey is making efforts to ensure a ceasefire in Gaza and deliver humanitarian aid to the region.

The Turkish leader also drew attention to the importance of flexibility in diplomatic initiatives to end the Ukrainian crisis with a just and lasting peace.
