Pakistan vows to protect sovereignty amid Afghan attacks

Pakistan is determined to protect its national interests, regional sovereignty, and security.

Axar.az reports that Pakistan’s President Asif Ali Zardari said this in response to Afghanistan’s aggressive actions.

“The leadership of Afghanistan has turned its back on the freedom struggle of the oppressed people in occupied Jammu and Kashmir, committing injustice against both history and the Muslim community,” Zardari said.

It should be noted that on October 11, Afghan forces attacked positions along Pakistan’s national border, resulting in the deaths of Pakistani soldiers.
