Qarabag could face Besiktas or Twente in next stage

The list of possible opponents for Agdam-based Qarabag FK in the second qualifying round of the 2026/2027 UEFA Europa League has been narrowed.

Axar.az reports, citing UEFA, that if the Azerbaijani side eliminates Iceland’s Vestri in the first qualifying round, it will face one of the following teams in the next stage: Besiktas (Turkiye), Twente (Netherlands), Tromso (Norway), Hammarby (Sweden), or the winner of the CSKA Sofia (Bulgaria) vs Derry City (Ireland) tie.

It should be noted that the second qualifying round matches will take place on July 23 and July 30.
