Pakistan and Taliban agree to 48-hour ceasefire

Pakistan has agreed to a 48-hour ceasefire with the Taliban regime at the request of Afghanistan.

Axar.az reports that the Pakistani Foreign Ministry has stated on this.

"At the request of the Taliban regime and based on mutual consent, Pakistan and the Taliban have agreed to a 48-hour temporary ceasefire, effective from 6:00 PM today," the statement said.

During this period, the parties agreed to hold a constructive dialogue.
