Sweden plans to sell 120 JAS 39 “Gripen E” fighters

Sweden intends to sell 120 JAS 39 “Gripen E” fighters to Ukraine.

Axar.az informs that TV4 reported on this.

“The JAS 39 Gripen E” is the latest version of the Swedish fighter aircraft developed by SAAB. This model has a more powerful engine, a longer range, and improved radar, as well as electronic equipment compared to previous versions,” the report said.

It was noted that a meeting between Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is expected in Linköping, Sweden. During the talks, deepening cooperation in the field of defense will be discussed.
