Germany to allocate €100M for anti-drone defense

The German government will soon allocate 100 million euros for protection against drones.

Axar.az informs that the Bild newspaper reported on this.

According to the publication, the Bundestag's Budget Committee approved the financing of the plan against UAVs.

German Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt has developed a concept for this purpose in cooperation with the German Federal Police.

According to the information, the goal is to detect and intercept drones. The new anti-drone unit will begin operating in December. They are planned to be deployed around the capital, major airports and other important security facilities.
