Erdogan holds call with German Chancellor Merz

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a telephone conversation with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz.

Axar.az reports, citing Cumhuriyet, that during the call, the leaders discussed the attacks on Iran and the subsequent conflict.

President Erdogan noted that the clashes in the region are negatively affecting both regional and global security.

He also emphasized the importance of increasing peace-focused engagements and encouraging the parties to return to dialogue to ensure lasting stability in the region.
