Armenia eyes alternative export destinations

Armenia is diversifying export markets for goods that have been banned from import into Russia.

Axar.az informs that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan made the statement.

“Several of our business delegations have already departed today. We are grateful to our international partners for their swift response, and we already have concrete proposals for the purchase of roses, fruits, and vegetables,” the prime minister noted.

It should be noted that earlier, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had pledged that the government would compensate farmers for losses caused by restrictions imposed by Moscow.

It is worth recalling that Rosselkhoznadzor has banned imports of Armenian wine, Jermuk mineral water, vegetables, and fish products.
