Trump: 'Big wave’ yet to come in war with Iran

U.S. President Donald Trump said that the U.S. military is “knocking the crap” out of Iran.

Axar.az reports, citing CNN, he said, “We haven’t even started hitting them hard. The big wave hasn’t even happened. The big one is coming soon.”

Trump noted that the strikes have already killed dozens of Iranian leaders, including 49 high-ranking officials, but the country’s current leadership remains unclear:

“They don’t even know who’s leading them now,” Trump said. “We went down 49” Iranian leaders.

On how long the war might last, the president said, “I don’t want to see it go on too long. I always thought it would be four weeks. And we’re a little ahead of schedule.”

Trump also indicated that U.S. efforts go beyond military action to support the Iranian people, but stressed, “right now we want everyone staying inside. It’s not safe out there.”
