Qatar downs two Iranian jets, intercepts 12 projectiles

Qatar’s Ministry of Defense announced that its armed forces shot down 2 Iranian Sukhoi Su‑24 fighter jets and intercepted a total of 7 ballistic missiles and 5 drones targeting the country.

Axar.az reports, citing Qatar News Agency, that all projectiles were neutralized before reaching their intended targets.

The ministry emphasized that Qatar’s military has the full capability to defend its sovereignty and urged citizens, residents, and visitors to remain calm and rely on official information.
