One dead, four injured after debris hits UAE gas facility

One person was killed and four others sustained minor injuries after debris from intercepted projectiles fell on the Habshan gas facility in the UAE.

Axar.az reports that the Abu Dhabi Media Office stated on X that two fires also broke out during the incident.

According to the statement, the deceased, an Egyptian national, died during the evacuation of the site. Two of the injured are Pakistani nationals, while the others are Egyptian citizens.

The facility sustained significant damage, and an assessment is currently ongoing.
