Australia deploys special forces to Middle East

Australia has reportedly deployed Special Air Service (SAS) troops to the Middle East.

Axar.az informs, citing The Daily Telegraph, that around 90 SAS personnel will be stationed at Al Minhad Air Base near Dubai in case the regional conflict escalates.

The troops are not expected to take part in any U.S. military operations, instead focusing on the emergency evacuation of diplomats.
