Iran launches drone strike on Kuwait oil refinery

A drone strike early Friday triggered a fire in parts of Kuwait's Mina Al-Ahmadi oil refinery.

Axar.az informs, citing foreign media, that no injuries were reported, and precautionary measures were taken to protect workers and facilities.

The Kuwait Petroleum Corporation said emergency and firefighting teams have been working to contain the fires in some of the refinery’s 39 operating units and prevent them from spreading.

It added that air quality in the affected area is being monitored, and that so far there has been no impact on the local environment.
