Car bomb hits police station in Pakistan, 5 dead -

At least five civilians were killed and 13 others, including a police officer, were injured when a suicide car bomb struck the rear wall of a police station in Pakistan’s northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

Axar.az reports, citing foreign media, the explosion completely destroyed the station’s sentry post and reduced a large part of the building to rubble.

Authorities said that five people were killed and 13 injured, including one police officer, were taken to hospitals.

The blast also caused severe damage to nearby residential areas, with several houses collapsing and people reportedly trapped under the debris.
