IRGC launched attacks on Amazon centre in Bahrain

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) says it has targeted an Amazon cloud computing centre in Bahrain in retaliation for US attacks.

Axar.az reports, citing IRGC Teelgram channel, “Yesterday we warned that if assassinations are repeated, American IT and artificial intelligence companies, which are the main actors tracking and directing assassination operations, would become targets.”

“In continuation of the 90th wave of the ‘True Promise 4’ operation, in addition to punitive strikes against seven airbases of the American and Israeli terrorist forces, the Amazon computing centre in Bahrain, a hub for espionage technology, was attacked and destroyed. According to the company’s statement, they are now leaving the region,” the IRGC added.

On Wednesday, Iran threatened to start targeting major US tech firms, including Apple, Google, and Microsoft, in a list posted to Telegram, accusing these companies are enabling US military operations and labelling them “legitimate targets” responsible for attacks against Iran.
