Finland’s Stubb holds phone talks with Iran’s Pezeshkian

A phone call took place between Finnish President Alexander Stubb and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.

Axar.az reports that Stubb shared information about the call on his X page.

"I had a call with President of Iran, Pezeshkian . We discussed the situation in Iran and the Middle East. A ceasefire and a diplomatic solution are urgently needed. I emphasized the need to end the strikes on neighbouring countries and restore freedom of navigation in the Strait Hormuz."

"Despite the disagreements, it is important to maintain dialogue," he wrote.
