Turkiye warns Iran against targeting Kurdish groups

Turkiye has warned Iran against targeting Kurdish groups operating inside Iran and neighboring Iraq, citing concerns over the potential security implications involving Israel.

Axar.az reports, citing Turkish media, that Ankara conveyed its concerns to Tehran, warning that increased pressure on Kurdish groups could push them toward closer cooperation with Israel.

The report said Turkiye views such a development as a potential threat to regional stability and has urged Iran to avoid actions that could further escalate tensions.
