Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) has expressed condolences to Algeria over a passenger bus accident in Boumerdes Province that resulted in numerous deaths.

Axar.az reports that the statement was shared on the MFA’s X account.

“We extend deepest condolences to the Government and people of friendly Algeria over the tragic passenger bus accident in Boumerdès Governorate that claimed many lives. We express heartfelt sympathies to the families and loved ones of those who lost their lives and wish a swift and full recovery to all those injured.

Azerbaijan stands in solidarity with Algeria during this difficult time,” the statement said.
