Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has warned that any country cooperating with military attacks against Iran would be committing an act of aggression under international law.

Axar.az reports, citing Iranian media, that Araghchi made the remarks during a phone call with UK Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband, criticizing Britain's recent designation of Iran's armed forces and accusing London of supporting military actions by the United States and Israel.

Araghchi said Tehran had entered the diplomatic process in good faith and reached a ceasefire memorandum on June 18, but claimed the United States later violated its commitments and prevented its implementation.

He argued that allowing aggressor states to use a country's territory or facilities to launch attacks on another state constitutes an act of aggression under international law and entitles the targeted country to exercise its right to self-defense.

Miliband said the United Kingdom was not part of the conflict with Iran and remained committed to resolving disputes through diplomacy. He also stressed the importance of continued diplomatic engagement with Tehran to improve relations and reduce tensions in the region.
