An Iranian lawmaker has warned that Iran would retaliate by plunging the region into the "Stone Age" if it comes under attack.

Axar.az reports that Ebrahim Rezaei, spokesperson for the Iranian Parliament's National Security Commission, made the remarks in a post on X.

"They think that during the two days the markets are closed, they can deliver a swift and decisive blow against us and force Iran to surrender.

It is a delusion that Netanyahu has planted in Trump's mind.

If Iran is attacked, we will return the entire region and its infrastructure to the Stone Age.

It is in your best interest not to do anything foolish," he said.
