Moldova officially exits CIS after parliament vote

The Moldovan parliament has adopted, in its final reading, a decision to repeal the agreement on the establishment of the Commonwealth of Independent States and its protocol.

Axar.az informs that this was announced by Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu.

Moldova’s Foreign Ministry stated that it will take one year for the country to formally complete its withdrawal from the organization.
