A number of countries are currently trying to find a formula to resolve the conflict in the Middle East, but statements from Washington are making the situation highly contradictory.

Axar.az reports, citing TASS, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said: "We see that a whole circle of countries, including Egypt, is actively searching for a formula to resolve the conflict."

During a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Egypt’s Foreign Minister expressed hope for a swift normalization of the situation around the Islamic Republic. Putin noted that, on its part, Moscow is ready to do everything necessary to bring the situation in the Middle East to a normative state.
