Araghchi held telephone conversation with Fidan

Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi held a telephone conversation with his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan.

Axar.az reports, according to the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the ministers discussed the latest regional developments and the consequences of ongoing US and Israeli military actions against Iran.

During the call, Araghchi expressed appreciation for Turkiye’s efforts and those of other regional countries to end the ongoing conflict, while emphasizing that US and Israeli aggressions are the main cause of instability in the region. He noted that contradictory and inconsistent actions by the US have deepened Iran’s distrust.

Fidan acknowledged Iran’s concerns, stating that Iran’s mistrust is understandable given that it has faced military attacks during ongoing negotiations.

The two foreign ministers agreed to continue bilateral consultations and maintain coordination with other regional countries.
