Khatami warns of Iran’s economic crisis

Former Iranian President Mohammad Khatami, drawing attention to the current economic situation and crisis in the country, said that 80% of people are not interested in who the leader is.

Axar.az reports that he said that the crises Iran has faced in the years since the revolution are more serious than before.

Warning about the danger of the collapse of the Islamic Republic, Khatami likened the country to a "solid tree."

"With the increase in internal and external threats, there is a risk that this tree will suddenly wither and fall. I hope that such a situation will not arise," the former head of state said.

In the current circumstances, Khatami called changing the management approach and "revising red lines without giving in to external pressures" the most successful way.
