US envoy’s plane heads toward Russia

The aircraft believed to be carrying U.S. President’s special envoy Stephen Witkoff has left U.S. airspace and set a course toward Russia.

Axar.az informs, citing TASS, the plane departed from an airport in Florida at around 01:00 UTC (05:00 Baku time).

Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet with Witkoff on December 2. The key topic will be the settlement of the Ukrainian crisis, including U.S. proposals on this issue.
