Russian astronaut Artemyev removed from Crew-12 Mission

Russian astronaut Oleg Artemyev has been removed from the Crew-12 mission just months before its launch to the ISS.

Axar.az informs, citing Insider, Artemyev was removed for violating ITAR export control regulations: the cosmonaut allegedly photographed SpaceX documentation and “took classified information on his phone.”

An investigation into the incident has been launched.
