Turkiye raises Black Sea tanker attacks

The Turkish side expressed concern to Ukraine's ambassador Nariman Jalal regarding the attacks on tankers in the Black Sea.

Axar.az reports, citing Turkish diplomatic sources.

"A meeting was held with the Ukrainian ambassador in Ankara earlier this week, and Turkiye's concerns regarding the recent events in the Black Sea were conveyed," it said.

According to TASS, on December 4, Russia's Chargé d'Affaires in Turkiye, Alexei Ivanov, was also invited to the Turkish Foreign Ministry regarding the situation in the Black Sea.
