Ukraine retains Northern Pokrovsk, vows to retake city

Ukrainian troops still control the northern part of the fortress city of Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region and will continue to fight to retake the rest of the city.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Oleksandr Syrsky.

He noted that more than 710 thousand Russian soldiers are deployed along the entire front line, which stretches for about 1255 kilometers. The Russian side is losing about 1000-1100 soldiers every day, both dead and wounded.

"At the current stage, the Russian army is trying to advance along the entire front line," he said.
