Hungary lifts veto on €20 mln military aid to Armenia

Hungary has lifted its veto on providing Armenia with €20 million in military assistance under the European Peace Facility.

Axar.az informs this was reported by Radio Free Europe’s Europe editor Rikard Jozwiak, citing sources.

According to him, the final formalization of the decision is expected in January.

The European Peace Facility was established in 2021 and serves as an EU instrument for providing military assistance to countries outside the bloc. Until recently, most of the fund’s resources had been directed to Ukraine.
