Israel, Lebanon hold second direct talks with US mediation

Israel and Lebanon representatives have held a new meeting, mediated by the United States, to discuss security and economic issues.

Axar.az reports that this was stated in a release from the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office.

It was noted that the meeting took place in the southern Lebanese border town of Naqoura.

The Israeli delegation was led by Yosef Draznin, Deputy Head of the National Security Council for Foreign Policy.

The talks focused on continuing dialogue on security matters, including the disarmament of Hezbollah.

The sides also exchanged views on economic projects, ensuring the safety of residents, and other related issues.

It is noted that this was the second such direct meeting between Israeli and Lebanese representatives.
