Ercan Turan, the governor of Turkiye's Igdir province, which borders Armenia, and other senior officials visited the Alijan checkpoint on the Turkish-Armenian border.

Axar.az reports that the Turkish press reported on this.

"Turan, together with representatives of various organizations, visited the Alijan checkpoint on the border with Armenia.

Senior Turkish officials examined on-site the conditions for establishing the technical infrastructure of the checkpoint and constructing relevant structures to provide services in the event of a possible opening of the Armenian-Turkish border.

After reviewing the conditions and regulations, the officials held discussions and presented a roadmap for the work," the statement said.
