Syria's new currency will be put into circulation, and this will be a new economic stage.

Axar.az reports that this was said by the chairman of the Central Bank of Syria, Abdulqadir al-Hasriya.

"The new Syrian currency is a symbol of our financial sovereignty after liberation, marking the beginning of a new stage established with the management of the Central Bank of Syria and the cooperation of everyone. This will be a solid step towards national success, stability, and economic recovery, in addition to the achievements made since the moment of liberation," he stressed.

Al-Hasriya noted that the details of the new currency will be announced during a meeting to be held on December 28.
