Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has declined to disclose details of contacts between Moscow and Paris regarding the possible pardon of French citizen Laurent Vinatier, who has been designated a foreign agent in Russia and is accused of espionage.
Axar.az informs, citing TASS, “No, unfortunately I cannot provide you with any details. This is a very sensitive area,” the Kremlin representative said in response to a related question.
At the same time, Peskov confirmed that contacts between Moscow and Paris over the case of Laurent Vinatier had indeed taken place.
“There were indeed relevant contacts between our side and the French side regarding the Vinatier case,” Peskov told journalists.
