All those who supported the attempted coup in Georgia on October 4 must be held accountable under the law.

Axar.az reports that Tamar Kekenadze, a member of the “Georgia for Gakharia” party, said this.

“All individuals who in any way supported the so-called coup provocation, first and foremost, the United National Movement of former President Mikheil Saakashvili and affiliated organizations and individuals, must be held accountable. We are also discussing the political responsibility of those who played a passive role in this process. This refers to former President Salome Zurabishvili,” she said.

It should be recalled that today the Tbilisi City Court placed Georgia’s former defense minister, Bacho Akhalaia, under pretrial detention on charges of organizing the attack on the presidential palace in the capital on October 4.
