Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) has thwarted a planned terrorist attack targeting students at a school in the Republic of Adygea.

Axar.az informs the suspect, described as a supporter of an international terrorist organization banned in Russia, has been detained.

According to the FSB, the attack was stopped at the preparation stage. The detainee is a citizen of a Central Asian country.

Security officers searched the suspect’s car, which was parked near the school, and seized 10 bottles containing homemade incendiary devices, two tactical knives, and a flag associated with the terrorist organization.
