Bulgaria to adopt the Euro in 2026

Bulgaria will join the eurozone on January 1, 2026, and will officially abandon the Bulgarian lev and adopt the euro as its national currency.

Axar.az reports, citing Reuters.

According to the information, Bulgaria will become the 21st country to officially fulfill all the requirements to join the eurozone, bringing the number of Europeans using the euro as their currency to 350 million.
