UAE completes withdrawal of troops from Yemen

All military personnel of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have withdrawn from Yemen.

Axar.az reports that this was stated in a release by the UAE Ministry of Defense.

“The UAE Ministry of Defense has announced the completion of the withdrawal of all armed forces personnel from the territory of the Republic of Yemen,” the statement said.

It should be noted that the UAE had previously announced it would withdraw all its troops from the country following a request by the Yemeni authorities and a call from Saudi Arabia.
