Russia downplays Pashinyan's EAEU remarks

Sometimes, unfortunately for both us and Pashinyan himself, he makes overly emotional and forceful statements that he probably later comes to regret.

Axar.az reports, citing Russian media, that Grigory Karasin, chairman of the Russian Federation Council's Committee on International Affairs, made the comment while responding to Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's statement that the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) is entering "the beginning of the end."

"In any case, life is not made up of statements alone, so we should treat this calmly," Karasin said.
