Guterres: Maduro’s capture sets dangerous precedent

The capture of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro creates a dangerous international precedent.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by UN Secretary-General António Guterres.

He also expressed deep concern over Maduro’s capture, saying:

“The actions of the United States create a dangerous precedent and could lead to serious consequences for international relations.”

It should be noted that today the U.S. military carried out an operation in Venezuela and captured President Maduro and his wife, taking them to the United States.
