New York mayor says he called Trump over Venezuela

“I called Trump and spoke to him directly to state my opposition to this action (the U.S. military operation in Venezuela – ed.). A unilateral attack on a sovereign nation is an act of war and a violation of international law.”

Axar.az reports that this was stated by New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani.

“This blatant effort aimed at regime change affects not only people abroad but also New Yorkers, including tens of thousands of Venezuelans who call this city home. I am focused on the safety of them and every New Yorker. My administration will continue to monitor the situation and issue appropriate directives,” he said.
